Liz Weeks (Orthodontist)
Liz graduated from Guy's Hospital Dental School in 1988. She gained considerable
experience in many of the specialities within dentistry before undertaking her
post-graduate training at the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke. Having
gained her post-graduate orthodontic qualifications, she established Abbey
Orthodontics in Romsey in 1998.
Liz takes great pride in her work, dedicated to gaining the best results for you,
so that after treatment you can smile with confidence.
Away from the practice Liz's interests include sailing and scuba diving. She
lives locally with her husband.

Sally (Practice Manager)
Sally has been dental nursing for many years as a fully qualified
Dental Nurse. She has wide experience in both private and NHS sectors. She
has been with the Abbey Orthodontics team since 1998 when she helped Dr Weeks
set up the practice. Sally gained her certificate in Radiography in 1999
and has completed her Higher BTEC in Dental Practice Management.
Sally has three grown up children and three grand-daughters.

Nicola (New Patient Advisor, Orthodontic Nurse)
As New Patient Advisor she is responsible for welcoming new patients on their
first visit to the practice, and discussing any treatment options after Dr Weeks
has examined them. Nicola qualified as a dental nurse in 1976 and worked for the
school dental service with her father for 4 years. After marrying she left
dentistry to have a family, but returned to general dentistry in 1991. In 1998
she became an orthodontic nurse at Abbey Orthodontics. In 1999 she gained her
qualification in radiography from Portsmouth University.
Nicola lives locally with her partner. She has two grown-up daughters and a
grandson, who is growing up - very fast!

Lindsey (Orthodontic Nurse, Radiation protection supervisor)
Lindsey Qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1983 and has had experience in both
general and orthodontic practices. She obtained her certificate in Dental
Radiography and is the practice Radiation Protection Supervisor, overseeing
the safety of both patients and staff. In 2006 she specialised by gaining her
Orthodontic Nurse Qualification.
Lindsey lives locally with her husband and two children.

Miriam (Oral Health Educator, Orthodontic Nurse)
Miriam qualified as a dental nurse in 1985. She took a break from dentistry
while her family were smaller. On returning to orthodontics she trained to
be our Oral Health Educator. She is here to support patients with their oral
health throughout their time with us, providing advice and practical help.
Miriam lives locally with her husband and four children.
